论文摘要:Sediment transport processes in the Roseires reservoir and the effect of sediment interruption due to the deposition of the reservoir are essential for better management and sustainability of this river system。 In order to determine the sediment transport processes in the study area and its influence on the reservoir, Friedkin (1945) equation was used for analysis of the findings。 The Friedkin (1945) equation is based on available survey data and dredging records extending from 1966 to 2005。 The periodic time examined in this study includes: 1966 to 1976, 1981 to 1985 and 1992 to 2005。 Average annual sediment volume and River bed changes derived from the profile data collected during these periods were analyzed。 The application of general sediment principles highlighted that, for the total period of 1966 to 2005 there was an annual deficit of approximately 1。395*109 m3。 In this paper, an understanding and predictability of the performance of reservoir was carried out as a supporting method to better understand the processes in the reservoir area。 A。M。S。L (Above mean sea level)
